Just got back from my Bachelor party in Joshua Tree National Park. It was a great trip, really beautiful and the perfect time of year. I was early spring so not to hot, but most importantly there was a decent rainy season and this gave a lot more plant life showing color. Not as many wild flower blooms as I had hoped, appears we were about 1-2 weeks too early to hit the best time, but was still able to take in some of the earlier bloomers.

I'm pretty happy with the photos I got, except for the fact that about 1/4 of my CMOS senor is apparently dirty or something, cause all my pictures were really soft on the right side =\

Anyways... as I said, it was my bachelor party, so that means I'm getting married in 2 weeks, then off to Hawaii on our honeymoon. Hopefully can snag some great pictures there too!

I got a chance to visit the Sierras twice this summer much to my enjoyment. Once in the Eastern Sierras and the other to Yosemite. The pictures that have resulted have really spirited me to work more on my photography skills. I am very pleased with the results and the progress I am making.

I hope to continue to be able to visit more natrual locations. I think I'm finding that Landscape/Nature pictures is what I enjoy the most. And regardless of the Pictures I've taken, being in such beautiful places is something I'll never forget. Especially my recent trip to Yosemite. Having mist, rain, and snow slipping through the amazing granite monoliths in the early morning of Yosemite was just amazing!

I'd love have any feedback people are willing to give as I'm always trying to improve!

Love in my life... which has kept me very busy (in a good way), but away from my camera. I got a chance to go to a downtown district with an artist colony and had fun taking pictures and actually produced a few good shots.

Well I decided to get more serious with photography as a hobby and got a serious camera. My brand new Canon Rebel XTi is en route! I can't wait to try it out and hope to be able to present half the beauty that I see in this world through my shots.

I expect it to be a learning experince so hope to continually improve with my shots. With that in mind I relish any criticism!
